What happens during a treatment?

Every treatment is unique because what we do depends on what you need at the time you come in. The initial visit includes a comprehensive intake with an interview and examination. And in all sessions, you have my full attention during your visit, which generally includes talking, examination, and acupuncture and moxibustion treatments. Afterwards you may feel renewed vitality and clarity, as well as a sense of ease and peace.

How many treatments are necessary?

This depends on the history and severity of one’s imbalance as well as the state of one’s health. For many people, a series of 6 to 8 treatments about once per week is recommended in the beginning. As your health improves, treatments are needed less often.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.

How much does a treatment cost?

Initial treatments are $180, follow-up treatments are $90. Sliding scale fees are accepted for individuals in need.

Can my insurance be billed?

Yes, but we do not bill your insurance directly. If your insurance covers acupuncture, you can be given an industry standard insurance form to submit to your carrier for reimbursement. All charges are due at the time of service.
