I believe that no matter what you do, you can bring healing and joy to yourself and others.
As graduate of the Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, I have been in practice since 2001 and am one of the few acupuncturist in the area specializing in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.
My path into healing as a profession began with a desire to improve my health and sense of happiness. Curious about self-healing, the nature of the mind, and helping others, I studied psychology in college and enrolled in post graduate training in Chinese acupuncture, herbalism, qi gong, martial arts, and body work (tui-na). I was drawn to oriental medical theory largely due to its emphasis on the mind-body connection.
During my study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I experienced Classical Five-Element Acupuncture first hand. These treatments affected me profoundly. I was grateful for this medicine and sure that this approach to helping others was for me. My overall health began to make vast improvements and increasingly my sense of peace and well-being returned.
My connection to spirit is very important to me and I work to deepen this awareness every day. I love practicing Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and helping people realize their healing potential.
